Andrii Matiukha Foundation joined the fundraising campaign for a football field for orphans in Zhytomyr

The event aimed to raise funds for developing sports infrastructure for the children of the Medical Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Center for Children in Zhytomyr. The initiative involves creating a football field and an inclusive playground that will be accessible not only to orphans but also to more than 6,000 children from the region.

The event was organized by Dynamo Football Club, the Andrii Matiukha Foundation, the Ukrainian Journalists' National Team, and the news agency “Center of News.”

“We supported this project because we see real value in it for children. This initiative is aimed not only at developing sports, but also at creating an environment where a child can feel included and important,” said Andrii Matiukha, founder of the foundation.

Among the lots presented at the auction were:

• Jerseys signed by Ukrainian national team players Oleksandr Zinchenko and Illia Zabarnyi from the Ukraine vs. Belgium match;
• A Dynamo FC jersey signed by the Ukrainian champions of the 2024/25 season;
• A Shakhtar FC jersey signed by the winners of the 2024/25 Ukrainian Cup;
• Footballs signed by Andrii Shevchenko and other national team players;
• Boxing gloves signed by Oleksandr Usyk and Vitalii Klitschko;
• A tennis shoe from tennis player and serviceman Serhii Stakhovskyi;
• A collectible coin from Oleksandr Usyk.

A similar auction in 2024 enabled the construction of a football field and playground at Lviv Infant Home No. 1. The event in Zhytomyr is a continuation of this initiative, with a focus on inclusion — the plan includes installing equipment accessible to children with disabilities.

The Andrii Matiukha Foundation was established in 2024 as a new avenue of charitable activity by Andrii Matiukha — a Ukrainian entrepreneur and philanthropist. The foundation implements initiatives in the fields of child and youth development, national defense support, veteran programs, medical aid, and international cooperation.
