Kyiv resident helps emergency crews resuscitate cat following Russian airstrike – video

The footage shows the civilian helping rescuers revive the animal.

Russian forces struck a 24-story residential apartment building in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district earlier that day. The drone directly hit the high-rise between the 11th and 12th floors, sparking a structural fire on the 12th floor and destroying load-bearing walls and wounding five people – two of whom have been hospitalized.

Russian strikes across Kyiv’s Darnytskyi and Holosiivskyi districts ignited two cargo trucks, a garage, and a two-story non-residential building overnight on September 9. Emergency crews managed to extinguish all the fires caused by the attack.

Russian forces deployed Oniks missiles, Iskander and KN-23 ballistic missiles, S-400 anti-air missiles in surface-attack mode, Kh-101 cruise missiles, and 166 drones. Missiles and drones hit 29 locations, with debris from shot-down targets causing damage at nine additional sites nationwide.
