Ukraine will target Russian military depots and command centers across Crimea, Zelenskyy warns

Invading Russian forces “will have nowhere to hide” in the occupied territories, the president added.

“Our fighters will annihilate enemy warehouses, command centers, and equipment – wherever they are – be it near Sevastopol (Crimea) or Luhansk,” said Zelenskyy.

“This is Ukrainian land, and invaders can choose to either flee or surrender. We’re not leaving them any other options.”

The president also addressed civilians in Russia-occupied Crimea, urging them to avoid military facilities and report their locations to Ukrainian security forces.

Presidential advisor Mykhailo Podolyak said earlier Ukraine is gearing up for the “active liberation” of Crimea, and called on locals to be ready to evacuate.

There have been a series of explosions across several Russian airbases in Crimea, destroying at least nine fixed-wing aircraft. Some experts suggested the attacks have crippled Moscow’s naval aviation, limiting its reach into contested areas in southern Ukraine.
