Ukroboronprom (Ukrainian Defense Industry) entered the top 50 global defense companies for the first time in the Defense News rating, Strategic Industries Minister Oleksandr Kamyshin reported on Telegram on Aug. 8.
"The rating is compiled by Defense News every year," he said.
"The company took 65th place last year, now it has jumped 16 steps at once."
Ukroboronprom shows the fastest growth among hundred world largest defense companies,— its revenue for 2023 has grown by 72% to $2.2 billion, he said.
The first half of 2024 shows that the company's growth will be steady this year as well.
