Olympic runner-up fencer outraged after Russia destroys supermarket near home

Ukraine’s Olympic silver medalist fencer Olena Kravatska shared her outrage over the Russian attack on her hometown of Odesa overnight on Aug. 14.
The European Games champion published footage in her Facebook stories of a destroyed supermarket where she used to go shopping.
“I have no words at all,” the 2015 world championship runner-up said.
“This is the store where I usually shopped, five minutes from my parents’ house.”
Russian forces attacked Odesa overnight on Aug. 14, launching 15 Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones and eight Kalibr cruise missiles. All targets were successfully intercepted, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
However, several fires broke out across the city and three civilians were injured.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
