Ukraine’s Yastremska up 37 positions in WTA ranking after win over Belgium’s Minnen

Ukrainiantennis player Dayana Yastremska has moved up 37 positions in the Women’s WTA ranking after defeating Belgium’s Greet Minnen in the final of the WTA 125 Polish Open in Kozerki, Poland, on Aug. 12.
Yastremska now
ranks 112th, according to the WTA website.
Elina Svitolina
remains the No. 1 ranked Ukrainian tennis player and ranks 26th in the Women’s
WTA ranking, two positions ahead of teammate Anhelina Kalina (28).
The top 100 also
includes Ukraine’s Marta Kostyuk (32), Lesia Tsurenko (42), and Kateryna Baindl
(85).
Polish tennis
player Iga Swiatek remains atop the ranking, followed by Belarusian Aryna
Sabalenka, and U.S. Jessica Pegula.
