Ukraine hits refineries in Russia's Krasnodar Krai and Tatarstan – General Staff

Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the Slavyansky oil refinery in Slavyansk-na-Kubani in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, where a fire was recorded on the plant’s grounds, the Ukrainian General Staff reported on Telegram on Sept. 13.
The refinery is reportedly one of the largest independent oil-processing enterprises in southern Russia. Its annual refining capacity is about 5.2 million tons of oil. The plant produces gasoline, petroleum products, fuel oil, vacuum gasoil, and aviation kerosene, and is involved in supplying Russian invasion forces.
Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence said the operation hit a key oil processing unit and the refinery’s tank farm. Thick smoke and the glow from the large fire could reportedly be seen from dozens of kilometers away.
The General Staff also confirmed a strike on the Taneco refinery in Nizhnekamsk, in Russia’s TatarstanRepublic. A fire broke out in one of the site’s storage tanks.
In addition, Ukrainian forces struck a site in Millerovo, Rostov Oblast, used by Russian troops for storing, preparing, and launching strike drones.
Following analysis of additional data, the General Staff also said that on Sept. 11 the Saratov refinery suffered damage to its ELOU-AVT-6 primary oil-processing unit and a section of the main pipeline.
