Explosions rock border city of Belgorod on final day of Russian ‘elections’: photos, videos

A missile threat was announced and explosions heard in the Russian city of Belgorod on the last day of the so-called presidential "elections" on March 17.
Photos and videos of the aftermath of the attack were posted online.
A local Telegram news channel claims that one of the munitions struck the roadway, and the shrapnel hit passing cars.
Another munition reportedly hit an apartment building.
The Baza Telegram channel reported that a local was killed in the attack on Belgorod, and more people were injured. So far, two women have allegedly sought medical attention. However, according to the channel, the number of casualties is likely to increase.
Local authorities have not yet commented on the attack.
The governor of Belgorod Oblast, Vyacheslav Gladkov, claimed on March 17 that a 16-year-old girl was killed in an attack.
Russian volunteers from the Freedom of Russia Legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK), and the Siberian Battalion announced a new operation in Russia’s Belgorod Oblast on March 12.
The RDK claimed to have advanced several dozens of kilometers and taken prisoners. Moscow reported casualties among the Russian army.
Russian rebels reportedly attacked the FSB building in Belgorod on March 13.
Governor Gladkov said on March 16 that shopping centers would be closed in Belgorod and nearby settlements for several days, and schooling would be suspended.
