Ryazan oil refinery and military airfield targeted by drone attacks

Powerful explosions rocked Russia’s Ryazan Oblast in the early hours of July 27. Locals reported that Russian air defense systems were targeting drones near the oil refinery and the Dyagilevo military airfield, according to the Astra Telegram channel.
The Dyagilevo air base houses Tu-22M3 bombers. Videos shared online showed smoke over Dyagilevo and a UAV flying overhead.
The Russian Defense Ministry claims that air defense systems "destroyed" seven Ukrainian drones over Ryazan Oblast. Ryazan Governor Pavel Malkov stated, "There were no casualties or material damage."
The Dyagilevo air base is home to the 43rd Center for Combat Use and Flight Training, equipped with Tu-95MS, Tu-22M3, Tu-134UBL aircraft, and an Il-78 refueling tanker. The 360th Aviation Repair Plant is also located nearby.
Monitoring Telegram channels reported that three Tu-22 bombers landed at Dyagilevo after their last flight on July 25.
On July 26, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed an attack on the Saky airfield in Crimea. Media reports indicate that a radar was destroyed near the airfield, and two Russian soldiers were wounded.
