Saudi company gets green light to buy four solar power plants in Kyiv Oblast

Ukraine’s Antimonopoly Committee has granted permission to the Saudi company FAS Energy to acquire four solar power plants in Kyiv Oblast, according to the corresponding decision dated July 2.
"Permission is granted to the commercial company FAS Enerhetychna to acquire control over LLC Borodenska Solar Power Plant [...] LLC Mihalkovska Solar Power Plant [...] LLC Solar Power Plant No. 8 [...] LLC Solar Power Plant No. 11 by directly acquiring shares in the authorized capital of the company," the AMCU statement reads.
The ultimate beneficiary of all four companies is Nadiya Petruchenko. Together with Roman Petruchenko, she is a co-founder and co-owner of LLC SPP Development Ukraine. This is a Ukrainian group of companies specializing in renewable energy sources and energy infrastructure.
The company combines services for development, engineering, construction, project management (EPC) and operation and maintenance (O&M).
