Germany to provide Ukraine with four more IRIS-T AA systems
Germany
will manufacture four additional IRIS-T air defense systems for Ukraine, German
Defense Ministry spokesperson Nadine Kruger said at a press briefing on May 15,
as reported by Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform.
According to Kruger, the air defense systems are already being produced. She also emphasized that the new package will include four additional systems – in addition to the four previously announced.
On May 13, the German government announced a EUR 2.7 billion ($2.94 billion) military aid package for Ukraine.
