No truth to the rumor Russia has moved new landing ships to Crimea – Ukrainian Navy
Any information suggesting that Russia relocated one of its naval vessels from Novorossiysk to Sevastopol does not align with reality, Dmytro Pletenchuk, a Ukrainian Navy spokesperson reported.
The Project 11711 large landing ship, Ivan Gren, is not currently situated in the Azov-Black Sea basin and has not participated in Russia’s full-scale invasion, he added.
The status of another ship from the same project, the BDK Petro Morgunov, also has no connection to the ports of temporarily occupied Crimea.
"Any information contradicting my statement should be deemed inaccurate. There are no plans or preparations for amphibious landings involving these units," he said.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
