Rescue effort continues week after Russian strike on Dnipro high-rise
Rescuers in Dnipro have been clearing the rubble of a multi-story building hit by a Russian missile on June 28 for a week, completing 90% of the work, said Dnipropetrovsk Oblast governor Serhiy Lysak on Telegram on July 4.
Rescuers are working around the clock, climbing to the top
of the building and clearing the rubble.
More than 1,600 tons of construction debris have already
been removed from the site, and 45 apartments inspected.
The Russians hit a nine-story residential building in Dnipro
with a missiles, destroying several floors and causing a collapse on June 28,
three people died and 12 injured.
Rescuers reported that two more people were missing.
On the night of July 4, the body of a woman was found under the rubble, governor reported.
