Russia launched six missiles at Ukraine overnight, killing two, injuring five
The Russian military launched six missiles against Ukraine during the early hours of August 28, with air defense units intercepting four of them, the Ukrainian Air Force has reported.
"The enemy fired four Kalibr cruise missiles from a frigate in the Black Sea near Feodosia. Russia also attacked Ukraine with two Kh-59 guided missiles from two Su-34 aircraft," the Air Force said in a press release.
Air raid alerts rang out across Ukraine early on Monday morning. Two people were killed, and five others were injured in a strike on an industrial facility in Poltava Oblast.
In Kryvyi Rih, two houses were destroyed, and five more were damaged; however, no casualties have been reported.
