Russia likely to rely more on drones than missiles in late 2023 – Ukrainian Air Force

In the fall, Russia may attack Ukraine’s
infrastructure more often with drones
than with missiles, Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat told Ukrainian TV
broadcasters on Aug. 4.
Ihnat claimed that Moscow used its strategic stockpile of long-range and precision missiles last winter during mass attacks on the Ukrainian power grid. As a result, it is now probable that "we should expect more drone attacks than missile attacks."
According to him, the occupiers no longer have the same stockpile of missiles as they did in 2022.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously stated that Russia may resume its strikes against the Ukrainian power grid in late 2023.
Zelesnkyy said that Russia has launched at least 1,961 Iranian-made Shahed kamikaze drones at Ukraine during the war.
In July, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that Russia’s military-industrial complex could produce around one hundred long-range missiles of various types per month.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
