Russian strike ravages upper floors of Odesa high-rise, toddler among injured

Russian forces struck an apartment high-rise in Odesa, injuring three people including a three-year-old child, City Military Administration head Serhii Lysak reported on Sept. 17.
Russian forces launched an overnight strike against Odesa into Sept. 17, damaging a multi-story residential building and injuring three civilians.
According to updated data released by the Odesa City Military Administration, the strike caused extensive structural destruction across the building's 14th, 15th, and 16th floors, obliterating several residential apartments.
Three people sustained injuries as a result of the blast, among them a three-year-old child. All victims are receiving medical attention.
Emergency search-and-rescue teams, police investigators, and municipal utility services are operating at the scene. Authorities established a mobile crisis response center to coordinate assistance and temporary housing for displaced residents.
Specialists continue inspecting surrounding residential blocks to determine the full scope of physical damage across the city.
