Russian drone swarm kills two, wounds dozens in Kharkiv
Two people were killed and at least 58 others were injured in a Russian swarm drone attack on the densely populated Sloboda and Osnovyanskyi districts of Kharkiv overnight, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported early on June 11.
Seven of the injured are children.
From 12:31 a.m. to 12:40 a.m. EET, the enemy carried out a concentrated series of strikes with 17 Shahed-type attack drones, directly hitting and setting on fire high-rise apartment buildings, private homes, playgrounds, offices, cars, and public transportation.
The State Emergency Service rescued several people from burning buildings.
Trolleybuses, the overhead power grid, and utility and industrial facilities were damaged.
Emergency efforts are underway to eliminate the consequences of the brutal attack and restore the gas, electricity, and water supplies.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
