Enemy regroups to resume push near Vovchansk — military expert

Mail and a military expert, discussed the situation in Vovchansk, Kharkiv
Oblast, Russian plans, and Ukrainian countermeasures in an interview with Radio NV on July 18.
"Activity there has dropped a bit,” but it is because the enemy is regrouping and preparing new plans.
"They realize that there is no point in attacking Vovchansk further, as they just can't achieve any success there," noted Narozhny.
"They have gone five kilometers from the front line and got bogged down. They are making attempts to attack Liptsy and other settlements on the flanks, but they have not been successful there either. And now they are regrouping. I think they will continue to attack somewhere near Vovchansk in Kharkiv direction. So this is definitely not over."
The Russians tried to break through Ukraine's defense near Vovchansk, Kharkiv Oblast on May 10.
Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troop Grouping on June 8 assured that the Ukrainian military was in full control of most of Vovchansk.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on June 17 said that the Ukrainian military was gradually pushing the occupiers out of the Kharkiv region.
Kharkiv military troop grouping on July 2 reported that the Russian occupiers had moved three assault groups to Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, to replenish their losses. On July 13, they noted that the Russians were trying to regroup their units to attack Vovchansk.
Chief of Ukrainian HUR, Kirill Budanov, also stated that Russian attack from the north is not stopped and that the problems were tending to worsen.
Later, HUR representative Andriy Yusov clarified that Armed Forces already managed to break enemy's plans, but the sutiation remains tense.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
