Russian invaders focusing primary efforts in four areas of front

Russian forces continue to focus their main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka areas of the front, with 30 combat clashes taking place during July 6, Ukraine’s General Staff said in a Facebook update on July 7.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske areas, the enemy launched an air strike near Hatyshche (Kharkiv Oblast).
The Russians fired mortars and artillery at more than 15 settlements, including near Stari Vyrky, Iskryskivshchyna, Katerynivka, Zapsillya (Sumy Oblast), Cherneshchyna, Odnorobivka, and Hoptivka (Kharkiv Oblast).
In the Kupyansk area, Ukrainian troops are standing their ground, the General Staff said. Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, and Kyslivka (Kharkiv Oblast) came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman area, the enemy used air support in an attempt to oust Ukrainian troops from their positions in the area west of Karmazynivka (Luhansk Oblast), but failed. The invaders launched air strikes near Karmazynivka, Nevske (Luhansk Oblast), Terny, Ivanivka, and Fedorivka (Donetsk Oblast).
More than 15 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast), Verkhniokamianske, Berestove, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk Oblast), were shelled by artillery.
In the Bakhmut area, under heavy fire from enemy aircraft and artillery, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled enemy attacks near Berkhivka (Donetsk Oblast). The enemy launched an air strike near Ivanivske.
At the same time, Ukrainian forces continue to conduct offensive operations south and north of the town of Bakhmut, consolidating their positions. The enemy fired artillery at more than 20 settlements, including Vasiukivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Bila Hora, and Dyliyivka (Donetsk Oblast).
In the Avdiyivka area, the military continues to hold back a Russian offensive near Pervomaiske (Donetsk Oblast). The enemy launched air strikes near Novokalynove and Avdiyivka (Donetsk Oblast).
At the same time, the Russians fired artillery at more than 15 settlements, including Keramik, Zhelane, Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Pervomaiske, and Karlivka (Donetsk Oblast).
In the Maryinka area, while under enemy artillery fire, Ukrainian forces repelled all enemy attacks near the town of Maryinka. The invaders launched an air strike near Krasnohorivka. The enemy also shelled more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, Maksymilianivka, Hostre, Maryinka, and Pobieda (Donetsk Oblast).
In the Shakhtarsk area the Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Novomykhailivka (Donetsk Oblast). The invaders launched an air strike near Vuhledar. They also shelled more than 15 settlements, including Blahodatne, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Shakhtarske, and Velyka Novosilka (Donetsk Oblast).
In the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson areas the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops. The invaders launched air strikes near Velyka Novosilka (Donetsk Oblast), Novodarivka, Chervona Krynytsia, Novodanylivka (Zaporizhzhya Oblast), Zmiyivka, Dachi, and Komyshany (Kherson Oblast).
The invaders fired artillery at more than 30 settlements, including Malynivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Yehorivka, Mala Tokmachka (Zaporizhzhya Oblast), the Marhanets community (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast), Zolota Balka, Sadove, Antonivka, Pryozerne (Kherson Oblast), and the city of Kherson.
The Ukrainian military continues to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdyansk areas, consolidating their positions, and conducting counter-battery fire.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
