Russian missile crashes near occupied Simferopol; Area cordoned by police and FSB
In the village of Skvortsove, Simferopol District in
temporarily occupied Crimea, a Russian-launched missile reportedly crashed.
On Nov. 3, the monitoring channel Krymsky Veter reported the launch of a missile from
Simferopol District, citing an eyewitness.
Less than half an hour later, journalists stated that this
missile "didn’t travel far" and likely fell in Skvortsove, Simferopol
District.
“A house on Tereshkova Street was destroyed. The area is
cordoned off by police and the FSB,” Krymsky Veter reported, noting that the
information still requires confirmation.
On Oct. 19, a Russian cruise missile crashed in Russia’s
Belgorod Oblast near the village of Khotmyzhsk in Borisovsky District.
In April, reports indicated that a Russian Kh-59 missile
“deviated abnormally” 92 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, also in Belgorod
Oblast. Russian authorities at the time claimed there were no casualties or
damage.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
