Four injured in Kyiv Oblast in overnight Shahed drone attack on Kyiv, says regional administration
Four individuals were injured in Kyiv Oblast as a result of a Russian nighttime attack carried out by Shahed drones on Sept. 10, according to Ruslan Kravchenko, Chief of the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, who reported this on his Facebook page.
As of 2.30 p.m., Kravchenko confirmed that four individuals had sustained injuries. One person was hospitalized due to cranial-brain and limb injuries, while the other three suffered minor wounds.
He also noted a growing number of damaged structures. In one district within the region, more than 100 private houses were affected by an explosive shockwave, along with 30 apartments in seven multi-story buildings.
Kravchenko added that blast shockwaves had caused damage to a school, a kindergarten, the village council, a hospital, an educational-rehabilitation center, a bus station, two stores, and a warehouse.
Efforts are now underway to mitigate the consequences of the attack.
During the night of Sept. 10 Russian forces launched a kamikaze drone attack using Iranian-designed Shahed drones on the capital city and Kyiv Oblast. Ukrainian anti-aircraft defenses successfully downed 26 out of 33 drones.
Authorities in Kyiv reported that debris fell in the Shevchenkivskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, and Podilskyi districts of the capital. In Kyiv Oblast, civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings, schools, kindergartens, and village councils, sustained significant damage.
