Russian soldiers who murdered civilians in Hostomel identified, say German prosecutors

The German prosecutor's office has identified Russian soldiers who murdered civilians in Hostomel, Kyiv Oblast, in 2022, according to the country’s justice minister, Marco Bushman, on Dec. 27.
One of the victims
was a German citizen, Bushman said.
"A claim is
to be made provided that they [the suspects] are detained", Bushman says.
Berlin is seeking
to investigate these individuals if they are detained by Ukraine or third party
countries.
According to
German law, a trial can only be held if the suspects are present in person.
