Russia pushes forward on four fronts in Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts
Russian forces have advanced in four frontline sectors in Ukraine’s Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, the DeepState monitoring group reported on Telegram on June 11.
The enemy have gained ground near the village of Yablunivka in the Toretsk sector, near Bohdanivka in the Pokrovsk sector, and in the area of Dniproenergia in the Novopavlivka sector.
Russian troops have also advanced near Bilohorivka in the Siversk sector of Luhansk Oblast.
On the same day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff reported 167 combat engagements at the frontlines over the past 24 hours, with most of them in the Pokrovsk sector.
On June 9, Major Viktor Trehubov, Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troop Grouping’s spokesperson said that the enemy was trying to advance on the Pokrovsk-Kostyantynivka highway to the east of Pokrovsk in an attempt to bypass the city, which is crucial for the Ukrainian defense in Donetsk Oblast.
