Death toll rises to 6 in Selydove after Russian attack, IDP couple pulled out of rubble

A married couple of internally displaced persons from the town of Hirnyk have been confirmed killed in Selydove, Donetsk Oblast, as a result of a Russian missile strike and partial collapse of an apartment building, the Prosecutor General's Office said on Nov. 16.
Rescuers pulled the bodies of a man and a woman aged 43 and 44 from the rubble. This brings the death toll from the Russian attack to six.
Earlier, on Nov. 16, the State Emergency Service reported four dead in Selydove.
Russia attacked Selydove overnight on Nov. 14-15. According to the investigation, the Russian forces fired four S-300 missiles at the Donbas town.
Twenty private households, six multi-story buildings, a car, and an outbuilding were damaged or destroyed in the Russian attack.
One of high-rise building partially collapsed. Emergency workers rescued six people, including one child.
The prosecutor's office has opened a criminal investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) as a result of the incident.
