Ukrainian PM Denys Shmyhal, UK Defense Secretary

Ukrainian troops, Shmyhal said in a Telegram post on May 5.
“We coordinated with Ben Wallace the necessary steps for our counteroffensive and further strengthening of Ukraine's defense capabilities,” said Shmyhal.
“We are systematically moving in this direction. The Ukrainian army is mastering NATO standards in practice, with experienced mentors on this training ground and in battles fighting the enemy.”
Shmyhal also posted a video of his address to the Ukrainian soldiers.
“Today, great responsibility lies on you for our victory, for establishing peace on the European continent, and for restoring global security,” the PM said.
“This responsibility requires concentration, acquisition of all knowledge, skills and abilities that your instructors from the UK, Australia, and New Zealand are sharing with you at this base.”
He noted that the military training courses lasts five weeks, and thanked Ukraine's partners for running the program, adding that 15,000 Ukrainian soldiers have already been trained by UK instructors.
