Russia undermines Security Council and feels free to kill people — Ukraine at UN

Serhiy Kyslytsya, Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, laid out a report to the UN Security Council on the aftermath of Russia's massive attack on Ukraine, saying that Russia feels free to murder people in a statement on Facebook on Dec. 29.
"Just look at the list of targets that were so ‘bravely’ destroyed by Russia last night,” Kyslytsya said.
“A maternity ward, educational facilities, a shopping mall, 45 multi-story residential buildings, private houses, two churches, commercial and storage facilities, and a parking lot."
Kyslytsya stressed that Russian aerial attacks doesn't only threaten Ukraine but spills over into neighboring countries, pointing to reports of a Russian missile breaching Poland's airspace. He concluded that supporting Ukraine and strengthening its defense capabilities is the only way to avert such consequences. He also emphasized that as long as Russia undermines the credibility and integrity of the Security Council, it will keep feeling at liberty to murder innocent people in Ukraine and beyond.
Russia unleashed a massive attack on Ukraine with kamikaze drones on theevening of Dec. 28 and with missiles on the night of Dec. 29. Kharkiv bore the brunt of numerous strikes, while in Lviv, a kamikaze drone hit led to a fire at a critical infrastructure site, and there were reports of strikes in the town of Konotop. Explosions rocked several cities.
Russia also struck a residential building in Lviv, killing one person and injuring 15. Additional casualties were reported in Kyiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Zaporizhzhya, and Kharkiv.
Ukraine’s top general, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, reported that the air defense forces successfully shot down 87cruise missiles and 27 drones.
