Ukrainian army commander Syrskyi briefs Zelenskyy on brigade rotations, dismissal of underperformers
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on "personnel decisions" in military brigades and the situation with their rotation, the head of state said on Telegram on March 4.
The message does not specify what personnel decisions have been made.
Syrskyi also reported the operational situation on the main frontlines and the audit of the Armed Forces.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and other representatives of the Ministry provided information on the actual receipt of weapons, which is planned for March, as well as ammunition, said Zelenskyy.
Syrskyi announced personnel changes on March 2 among brigade commanders who do not know the situation and whose actions pose a threat to personnel. The general continues to work on the eastern front, where he is conducting audits in military units.
During his evening address on the same day, President Zelenskyy said that the Commander-in-Chief has carte blanche for personnel changes in the army.
