Ukrainian soldier extinguishes burning tank on the move after Russian drone strike — video
A commander of the 214th Separate Special Battalion OPFOR
tank company demonstrated extraordinary bravery on the battlefield.
Journalist Yuriy Butusov shared a video on Telegram showing the remarkable event.
During a mission to clear an area, the armored vehicle came under attack from a Russian kamikaze drone.
The footage reveals that the impact caused a fire, but the Ukrainian soldier, despite the enormous risk to his life, immediately jumped out and began battling the flames engulfing the tank, likely frustrating Russian attackers.
"There was a fire both outside and inside,” Butusov said.
“The warrior didn’t hesitate for a second, grabbed fire extinguishers, climbed onto the armor, and managed to put out the flames while on the move, saving the crew's lives and health.”
“He then drove the tank back to our positions in operational condition."
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
