Drone damages historic Konotop cinema as children play nearby

Russian forces struck the Myr movie theater in Konotop with a drone on the afternoon of June 24, injuring four people, including a teenager, local officials said.
The drone struck civilian infrastructure in the city center, Sumy Oblast Military Administration head Oleh Hryhorov said.
Hryhorov initially reported two injuries before raising the number to four. A teenager was among those injured, he said.
Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin shared video showing the aftermath of the attack, including damage to the side of the movie theater and debris near the site.
Children had been playing near a fountain across from the theater when the drone struck, Semenikhin said.
The Myr movie theater was built in 1959 and is an architectural and urban planning landmark.
Russian forces also attacked a gas station on the outskirts of Sumy with a drone on June 24, injuring at least three civilians who were at the site.
