Ukrnafta confirms heavy destruction at two Kyiv stations after drone raids

"Late this morning, Russian jet-powered drones attacked two filling station complexes in our network simultaneously — on both the right and left banks of the capital. The enemy cynically delivered a repeated strike against one of the sites," he said.

Staff and customers cleared the premises immediately following the air raid alert. Nevertheless, the impacts inflicted widespread damage on permanent structural buildings and critically compromised technical pumping and storage equipment.

Kukura underscored that the struck facilities are entirely civilian sites providing fuel and basic everyday essentials to local communities, characterizing the Russian strikes as "terror against the civilian population."

Ukrnafta board chair added that the company intends to restore the damaged stations and resume services for customers as soon as possible.

Earlier reports confirmed that Russian drones struck filling stations in Kyiv's Dniprovskyi and Obolonskyi districts. The assault killed two people and injured eight others, six of whom required emergency hospitalization.

On Sept. 10, Russian drone hit an Ukrnafta station in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district, sparking a large blaze and leaving four people wounded.
